Songs to Fall in Love (And Search For Bigfoot) To
So it's been a minute since I posted any of my writing playlists, even though I've been going on my merry way making them, and I figured what better way to continue celebrating the publishing of the Unreality ebook than by giving you a look into the music that fueled it? Not that I had to go to too much trouble to make one when I started writing the story; since the Renards, as I've rambled about before, are recurring babies of mine, I've had a set playlist for them since the first word I ever wrote about them, and I add to the list with each story to fit its particular subject matter or mood (UFOs, ghosts or hauntings, weird squatching expeditions, that sort of thing). I'll admit I made only one addition to the list with this story, and it'll probably be pretty clear which it is. So without further ado, here's the list of songs that might help get you into the headspace I was in while I was writing "Unreality" as you—hopefully—read it (although if that's space you'd rather not step into, I understand).
1. "I Wished on the Moon," Frank Sinatra
2. "Passenger," David Duchovny
3. "I Will Follow You Into the
Dark," Death Cab For Cutie
4. "I Believe," Frank Sinatra
5. "Twilight Time," The Platters
6. "Can't Help Falling in Love,"
Elvis Presley (also the Patrick Wilson version from The Conjuring 2)
7. The Addams Family theme
8. "I Want to
Believe," GBH
9. Classics IV, "Spooky"
10. "Bigfoot," Bro Smith
