An Original Jersey Girl
Louisa Jennings has had many homes over her life. Crippled in a hunting accident shortly after she wed her husband, Cal, a fellow Piney, she's spent the last five years moving with him from town to town, village to village, throughout the Pine Barrens, picking up what work they can get and scraping by together. She hasn't let the hard times dim her dream of someday finding a home they can call their own forever, though, and she hopes they've finally found it in the small village of Colter. There's just one problem: the townsfolk suspect Cal of having a hand in the brutal murders that started up shortly after the pair arrived. Is he truly to blame, and if not, who is? Will Louisa's hopes for a home be dashed yet again, and will the couple find themselves running once more in the dark pine woods of southern New Jersey? The answers can be found in Wolf of the Pines, available now in ebook and paperback format on Amazon; Louisa's character aesthetic can be found right under here. No, down there. Yep, you've got it.
